Just got this in an email from KF:
I generally fly in full-earning economy buckets, but this is welcome news for situations where I fly with family. Previously, I'd either miss out on miles completely, or pony up the large premium to book them all in an earning class.

One thing that's not clear: what booking codes are Sweet Deals and Super Deals booked into? Curious to see how this compares to earnings on other FFPs.

    V, T - 10% miles

I tried to make dummy booking. It showed Sweet Deals will earn 50% miles starting 1 April 2012.

It'd be better if it goes as 75%, 50%, and 25%.. Although it is good that they do this, its still very marginal.

Waiting to clarify if the miles can be credited to other Star Alliance FFPs. I think the 10% miles earning classes will not be able to be credited, just waiting to see what happens to the 50% miles fare buckets.
