Yeah, they will give you 500 miles for this stupidity. But not if you fly on their airline.
Does it make sence to open an FF acount with Hawaiian to get the 500points if I will never fly with them? Points expire after 18month of inactivity.
Couldn't find information if they are transferable. Read about HHonor in an old forum thread, but could only find the information on the Hawaiian page that they are not transferable to any other FF accounts.
They can be transferred on points.com at a steep discount. They become 65 AA or CO, 79 US, or 59 DL miles, for example. Some transfers require minimum amounts. In the end, it may just be a good way to top-off an account going inactive.
