Perfect timing, especially since I just dropped my Netflix DVD plan.

If only you can find one. None anywhere near me; my area is saturated with Redbox.

Yeah, I'd rather save my e-Rewards up to $100 and claim 7,000 HHonors points.

Or save them for the upcoming US Grand Slam.

Wouldn't that only be 1 hit? I'm not a fan of US, so I'd rather bank up in CO/UA/HH/SPG. Perhaps I need to try more airlines/hotels out, but those are my favorite from all I've tried.

Presumably 1 hit and the miles for a $50 redemption, IIRC. No details yet for this year's promo, though.

I know of one Blockbuster Express anywhere, and it's in a Walmart in the middle of nowhere. On the other hand, all the Blockbuster stores have closed in Seattle AFAIK. The last one held on for a while.

I like Redbox. It's easy and doesn't make me think of my grandpa trying to be cool when that time has long passed. And Netflix, I still love your DVD service. I'm actually going to drop the streaming movies.

Blockbuster Express is more of a licensing of the Blockbuster name than anything else. They are run under a subsidiary of NCR. If you like Redbox, you should like BE.

There are some in the Seattle area, though it appears that there are none downtown.

My point is more that I think Blockbuster as a name is a liability, not an asset worth licensing. Honestly, when was the last time someone thought back to the days when Blockbuster was king, with the long lines and excessive fees, and thought, there's a business I enjoy shopping?

My response exactly. And you can find new codes every week if you follow the right blogs. In fact, you really only need 1 or 2 codes with as many credit cards as most of the people here have (limit of one use per code, PER CARD).

I have pretty much rented every movie that interests me over the summer...maybe I should stop talking now before this gets killed too.

Bottom line: I won't be using my e-Rewards $$ for this!
