Dublin Airport: Don't wrap your Christmas presents!
I thought this was pretty much the modus operandi for every NA and European airport
....but some people nevertheless do / or did wrap their gifts and took them to the airport in their carry-on bags.
It's pretty much the SOP for most of the world's airports. Some people either never get the message or choose to disregard it, causing delays for others going through security at this busy time of year.
Wrapping up their gifts can be a "natural" when wanting to give them away to their loved ones, they might not think about the consequences at the airport, as reported, Christmas is all about celebration and emotion, it's a time to reflect and think about loved ones, I guess that what many do, they naturally haven't thought about "others" or about airport security / regulations. It's all about awareness, this leads to preparedness. Cheers.
