|| Dubai hotel goes overboard with iPads: Hands out $10,000, gold-plated tablets ||
I wonder what is the charge they put on your card when you check in for "incidentals"
Uh, um, sorry, I don't think I got one when I checked in.
Good luck getting out of the country!
Besides all the obvious issues (cost if lost, damaged, etc) why would I want to put my personal data (logins passwords, etc) and then trust that it will be securely erased?
Plenty of hotels make iPads available to guests.
You don't need to put personal data in if you don't want to. There are plenty of things to do with it w/o logging in to personal accounts/etc.
Dubai and over-the-top bling go together like peanut butter and jelly.
