probably the same couple I just got off a cruise with, they were drunk too, especially the groom.

At first read I tend to agree, but now I really don't know about how bad I should feel for the wife.

I find it VERY hard to believe that this was the first time the guy got drunk & belligerent and therefore that the wife hasn't seen this type of behavior before.

That's the interesting point. He was held by police in Cayman Islands, and she stayed on the flight and continued to San Jose, Costa Rica. In my view, that means she was leaving him behind in more ways than one.

I was thinking the same thing. If you're going to marry someone, one would think you'd know them pretty well, so I don't think for a second that she was all that surprised by this. And if she really was surprised by it, then, to be blunt, she's pretty damn stupid.

i agree with sweet Willie and Letterboy.

    I have further questions:
    1. Was the groom "intoxicated" before the flight?
    2. Did he get liquid courage during the flight?

If he was inebriated before, why was he let on the plane. Is there a reason why the GA(s) or FA(s) would notice and take action?

If this happened during the flight, why didn't the crew notice and stop him. Was there a reason the continued to serve him?

Looks like it cost him $600 and a honeymoon without his bride.
