We are presently at Dreams La Romana in the Dominican Republic. We traded a timeshare week for the week here and so far I am extremely pleased. The resort is an all inclusive requiring a fee of $65.00 per day for each adult. In addition we paid an extra $75.00 per day for an ocean front VIP suite. The suite is a one bedroom suite and is very similar to the suites at the Conrad Bali being just a bit smaller.

The VIP lounge has excellent food and drinks all day and the selection of 8 restaurants is fantastic. Yesterday we went to Oceana for seafood dinner and it was as fresh and tasty as is possible.

Tonight we are going to the Japanese restaurant.

There are two pools plus the VIP private pool and the grounds are beautiful.

Last night we had a fantastic Michael Jackson impersonator show and tonight the show will be a magician.

There are things to do all day including archery, bicycle tours, games, including a club for teens and a club for younger children. At night there is a daily show, a casino and a disco.

I generally do not care for all inclusives as the quality of the food has not been great in the past. If anyone is thinking about a timeshare trip to the Dominican, I would highly recommend Dreams La Romana.
