I've stayed at many Hilton properties, but have never encountered a Doubletree "Club" hotel.

    I see from google there's a few.

What does "Club" indicate in the hotel name? Less service, more service, something different?

    Thanks!

It's a limited service DoubleTree. I haven't stayed in one in many years, but I remember them not having a full-service restaurant, no room service, and generally a lack of things like meeting/event facilities.

    I agree

I stayed at one one time and haven't been back since for the reasons stated.

Do you at least still get a cookie at check-in? :(

Ah thanks for the information. Since the property I'm looking at is around the same price of the full-service Hilton, I'll be sticking with that.

I generally like a lounge and restaurant to be available. :)

    Thanks for the info.

They sometimes do have meeting space; one in San Diego does, anyway. They're just more suitable for smaller events (and kind of nice for them, frankly). I've been in the one in San Diego a few times.
