DoubleTree by Hilton to open first hotel in Croatia:)

McLean-based Hilton Worldwide has signed a deal to open a DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Zagreb, Croatia. The property will be the first DoubleTree in Croatia and the first Hilton of any kind in the country’s capital city of Zagreb.

Hilton said Monday that the newly built DoubleTree by Hilton Zagreb will form part of a mixed-use development of offices and retail space located in a prominent position within Zagreb’s central business district. It is within walking distance of the historic old town.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Zagreb is expected to open in spring 2012.

It really is a fantastic hotel in Dubrovnik, feels like a grand palace with the right location and luxuries included too! Heard also only great things about this property and yes, I believe the Doubletree in Zagreb will boost our chances to visit the country of Croatia at some stage! Would love to stay in both properties!:)

There are a number of beautiful hotels in Croatia now- don't wait to book. The Regent in Zagreb is quite luxurious, and you can also check out a number of hotels on the Adriatic coast. Of course, uggboy you may want to check into chartering a luxury yacht- this is the way the "real" billionaires of Europe take vacations in Croatia (I know because I take pictures of their boats from shore ;)).
