Don't toss it! Deals hidden in airline boarding passes
IIRC, SQ's BP contains a variety of discounts at some merchants if you show it.
So do Korean Air and Asiana boarding passes. They offer different discounts at vendors and discounts at taking the airport bus downtown Seoul.
Alitalia BP's get you discounts at a good number of merchants and restaurants in Italy.
An interesting concept, especially at a time when most airlines are going over to an electronic barcode scan from one's cellphone. How will these "deals" then be available for future use?
Maybe after you scan your phone to confirm boarding... it can trigger the system to email you a set of electronic coupons?
