Don’t bother using Delta.com today – it’s busted!

    EDIT: Delta.com Seems to be back up now as of 2:50PM ET!

    And also we now, as of 4:07 ET have and updated statement from Delta about what went on:

    “Delta apps and delta.com are operating normally after overnight maintenance caused performance issues for approximately four hours today. We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers. No flight delays were reported as a result of this issue and customers were able to check in using airport self-service kiosks throughout the entire event and book with directly with Delta Reservations.” – Delta CORP

    If you have tried to do anything at all on Delta.com today you will see many errors like the one above. Or, get very strange results like this one:

    If you can get the site to work it is VERY slow and the Delta phone app is not much better if you are able to log-in at all.

    I reached out to Delta and was told:

    “Delta is experiencing issues affecting the performance of our web site and mobile applications. We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers while our technical teams work to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.” – Delta Corp

    And that is the same quote they are pushing out on twitter as well. No idea when it will be fixed or what has caused this. It seems flight ops are fine and airport kiosk check-in is working! – René
