Title of thread says it all. Wondering what to expect if I want a certain date/cabin and its not currently available. Thanks.

They certainly do if seats are available. When they do it depends on route, and first class is usually held until closer to departure. E.g. for awhile on the BKK-NRT route additional first class seemed to open up 17 days out. Then it was 9 days out. A few months back I rebooked some friends flying BKK-NRT and onto ORD with United onto BKK-CDG in TG F, connecting to FRA to catch FRA-IAD on LH F. Those seats hadn't been available 48 hours earlier.

Thanks, Gary. I was hoping that was the answer. I have some flights currently but they aren't ideal in terms of cabin preferences. I know with LH if you want F you have to wait until closer in, but I wasn't sure if TG worked the same. I will keep checking daily. Thanks.
