I am confused about the earning miles of N fare. the mileage calculator said yes, while the miles earning chart doesn't have N fare. which one is correct?
I think it does. Check out this link. It show N as an option and for some dummy flights it showed me 100%. In fact it shows N in a chart at the bottom of the page http://tinyurl.com/4y2cq32
http://www.united.com/page/article/0,6867,53132,00.html Yes, N fares are fair game (no pun intended).
The chart at the bottom is for For flights Jan. 31, 2011 and prior. The new chart doesn't have N fare while the mileage calculator does have N fare. this is why I'm confused. I want to credit my miles to CO since this is a CO flight. I guest the worst case is to credit to UA once my upgrade clears.
N is one of the old fare classes they abolished during the re-structure. It still earns 100% EQMs and RDMs. I flew one in January that had been purchased in October with no problems.
