I have an account with 13K points which I would like to trade for 13K Diners' Club, Membership Rewards or Chase UR points deposited to my FF/ hotel accounts. Alternatively I will accept 13K Hyatt or 25K Marriott from you.

Wow! It's been over a month without one reply nor one like nor one nibble! OK, make an offer! I know that some of you ride Amtrak trains & can use my points!

OK, I was going to post something myself, but I've always wanted to take a "luxury" train ride, cross country or on a long route. Did you earn your miles commuting or with 'longer ride' travel? And, btw I would be trading Marriott Rewards points.

Actually, these points were bought during a 'Buy points, get 30% bonus' promo. I ride Amtrak only once in a blue moon.

I'd guess most people have no idea what that number of points that would buy? Maybe give an example for one person and two persons tickets?

BTW, Gregm, where do you live? Or where do you expect to start a train ride?

You can get a Roomette for 15K points, which I think is for 1--2 persons, all the way from Ft. Laud or Miami to NYC, Boston, or maybe even Montreal. But unfortunately no stopovers. Once you get off the train & spend time somewhere, that's it--unless you reach the end of the line, you may wait up to 23h30m for the connecting train. Or you can put your car on the Auto-Train for 15K. I think you can money-buy tickets for yourself & any companions.

BTW, I can use Chase UR points to boost this account to 15K or so if someone needs so many AGR.

I have about 5,000 Delta miles and would love to trade for some of those amtrak points.

Oh well, I'm out... I do ride Amtrak like 8 times a year, but only for arriving home from university and leaving home for university, that's about my only long-distance transportation I take and I don't have any other points, sorry... but 13k points sounds awesome to have, oh well lol

Rphilpot & Rakuten, do you have any Hyatt, Marriott, or Carlson hotel points to offer me?

How about Diners' Club, Amex Membership Rewards, or Chase Ultimate Rewards points? All those can be put into my FF accounts free of outrageous transfer fees.

GONE! I've just converted them via points.com . A 3-step transfer which will get me 12K BA miles.
