I think only AT&T has a promotion where you get a few hundred miles for qualifying purchases. Sprint used to have something with United a while back but I don't think it is still active.
Check out freefrequentflyermiles.com/. There is some info over there about different cell providers on the Telephone page. It looks like Hawaiian and Alaska give miles for renewals, and a few others give miles for phone and accessory purchases, but I have not tried them.
If you don't mind just getting cash back, you could try the Ebates wirefly wireless shopping site--supposedly they offer $5 and up.
oh for the good old days when 30,000 miles or sometimes up to 50,000 was awarded for switching one's landline which I always had for an office line anyways. I think my NW account had 400K in it at one time, with nearly 98% of that coming from telephone switching deals.
