Do you tip for included amenities?

Some luxury hotel packages include excursions with private tour / guide and meal. In a non-tipping country like Japan or China, do you tip them? If so, how much? When I was on safari packages, I added a tip for the guide and the hotel staff at the end of the trip.

In a nontipping country or where a service charge is included, I don't tip. IME with such packages, there's usually an explicit statement about gratuity not being included, for example on FHR bookings that provide a complementary lunch or dinner.

If there is a service charge included- I rarely add additional tip. Otherwise- yes (in a tipping country).

In Japan or South Korea for example even when we tried to tip they do not accept it, but on the other hand there was always a service charge included too. In other countries this does depend on the outcome and delivery of the service and what we paid for // or again is the service charge included or not!;)

Depends on the service rendered like going the extra mile for example!;)
