In order to be in charge of a frequent traveler loyalty program, is one requirement that the first name should be Jeff?

Here is a list of Jeffs who are the heads of their respective frequent traveler loyalty programs:
    • Jeff Robertson Delta Air Lines SkyMiles
    • Jeff Diskin Hilton HHonors
    • Jeff Zidell Hyatt Gold Passport
    • Jeff Smisek United Airlines
All right — so I cheated on the last one, as Jeff Smisek is the president and chief executive officer of United Continental Holdings, Inc. and not head of the Mileage Plus frequent flier loyalty program.

    Have I missed any Jeffs?

    Jeff Foland, United MileagePlus

But you can also be a Suzanne (Rubin, AAdvantage), a Chris (Holdren, SPG), an Ed (French, Marriott) to name a few. Not to mention my all-time favorite name for someone running a program -- Gabi Kool (Air Baltic BalticMiles).

They aren't eligible for the Jeff Awards, because they are a bunch of bad actors.

Except Jeff is not the President of MileagePlus anymore. Tom O'Toole is the new Chief. So United is unJeffed ;)

Except Jeff is still Tom O'Toole's boss, no? He's EVP of "Strategy, Technology and Business Development" and MileagePlus falls underneath that.

Does "falls underneath that" equate to "thrown under the bus"?

Jeff Foland works for United, Tom O'Toole is the President of MileagePlus, so he runs the program, of course he has a boss ;)

So it's like Jeff Zidell is the chief of Gold Passport, but he reports to John (not Jeff) Wallis

I am not sure that Jeff Rubin, Jeff Holdren and Jeff French would agree with you.

My all-time favorite name for someone running a frequent flier loyalty program has to be Patrice Miles, former vice president of consumer marketing at Delta Air Lines. I wonder if she has a husband named Jeff...

However, if Gabi Kool assists you with an issue concerning your Air Baltic BalticMiles, would that be known as Kool Aid?
More appropriately, there needs to be someone named Jeff Leff to run a frequent traveler loyalty program...
