This is my first mileage run.

Booked for this Saturday (4/23) return on the same day, arrive on 4/24 (12:22am).

I'm a silver medallion, but after booking, it didn't show 25% bonus miles. Is it gonna be added after I complete the flights or what?

edit: 2.9cpm counting Delta Amex double miles and 25% silver medallion bonus.

Yes, don't worry. I think what shows on the website is either the MQMs or the standard miles for nonelites. You shouldn't trust it except for the raw distance attributed to the route.

MSP-MIA is likely to be the easiest upgrade on this itinerary, but Saturday generally is a favorable day for Silver upgrades. Good luck and report back.

ADDED: Upgrade odds also improve when you fly on equipment with a favorable ratio of FC to coach seats. DC-9, 757 (non-BE coast-to-coast service), and RJs with FC are better than other aircraft as a general rule.

SEA-MSP and ATL-SEA are both on 757, fingers crossed.

For Saturday travel, you should have a reasonably good chance of getting into FC.

I was just trying to use expertflyer.com to check the flight availability. The departure flights showed up fine, but no results for the return flight. There are other flights for the same routing, but not the exact flights I was booked into. Is that normal?

update: three out of the four legs have been upgraded to FC. seems too good to be true, considering the upgrade window for silver medallions is one day before departure.
