    Not really a mileage run but a good fare to Bali with an interesting routing.

    Sample: October 22nd - 29th
    21+K / Miles or 4.9 Cents Per mile
    Bookable on Delta.com

    Unrelated, but poking around ITA when asked, I found JFK-PVG-HKT for $1,077 all in, which is another great fare to the region from the US.

    You can actually do clt-atl-msp-lax-syd-dsp-syd-msp-atl-clt for another $40 Leave 11/13 return 11/16 for a bit more miles ;)

    The fare actually in theory works through SEA as well if you want to push harder ;)

    The fare allows for UNLIMITED transfers. And has very liberal routing rules. Routing via SYD isn't exactly the norm to Southeast Asia.

    that's 26k+ the way gcmap tells it. If anybody's short for the end of the year, this is probably the way to go :)

    Its more with minimums. another 500 or so.

    And yea, thats a crazy routing.

    Its another $40 through sea as well. Pushes it to nearly 28k

    Sad I can't get in on this deal. To much going on, but thats a good price in general for bali. especially given the miles.

    This can also be routed through NRT and SIN with the last SIN/DPS leg on SQ (and allowing the permitted Asian stopover). From Denver the loose routing also permits the leisurely DEN/SLC/BIL/MSP/NRT/TPE/DPS. Routing through SYD or BNE allows the most miles (close to 4 CPM) but no permitted stopover. Orbitz yields more results than ITA here.

    Here's from CLT for 11/11 - 19th. Availability isnt as good as it was 10 days ago.

    On ITA, enter:

    CLT::ATL LAX SYD
    DPS::SYD LAX ATL

    Good luck.

    To do those routings, you have to touch NRT first. So starting from CLT -

    CLT::ATL NRT TPE
    DPS::TPE NRT ATL (you can swap the ATL with other NRT ex-US departures like DTW).

    For SIN, swap out TPE with SIN. Good luck.

    The fare allows for a stopover in Asia except Tokyo. The best way -

    1. Find the fare with TPE routing
    2. Let say the availability is 11/1 - 11/10
    3. You manually check using multi-city search on ITA with dates in between 11/1 - 11/10 etc to see if you can do US-NRT-TPE (Stopover) // then DPS or vice versa. There is no easy way to check. It is time consuming and often time yields nothing. Just because the fare rules allows for a stopover doesn't mean one actually exist.
    4. The fare with stopover will be a little more due to taxes and fees associated with entering a new country.

    Is this still available?
    I don't often see much originating out of PHX.

    The fare is still in the GDS. But don't believe there's any availability since this has been around for over a month.
