The airport code for Tokyo Haneda is HND not HAN. When I saw this thread title, I immediately thought Hanoi as I know this isn't the code for Hannover, Germany.

I find it hard to read and understand your post, but I'm not convinced about your mileage calculations. IIRC the HND flights indeed get double bonus (redeemable) miles in addition to whatever bonus miles accrue due to elite status (25%, 100%, 100%, 125%), but they do not earn any additional status miles. Assuming that the fare code is not M or higher, Medallion Qualifying Miles (MQMs) should be 100% of the flight miles, with the 500 mile minimum per segment, so that the 43162 number cannot be correct, nor do I understand the source of the 15148 number compared to 26,858. It should be as follows:

Redeemable miles: 2 X actual miles (500 per segment min) plus (0%, 25%, 1000%, 100%, 125%) of actual miles (500 mile minimum per segment)

Status (Medallion Qualifying) miles: 100% of actual miles (500 miles per segment min)

If you click on the blue word "report" at the bottom of your post, you can request than the HAN in your thread title be corrected.

  4. HDN
    Mileage numbers are 1146 Mia-Dtw X 2 x 2 for platinum or diamond = 4584
    Mileage for Dtw-Hdn are 6428 miles + 6428 bonus + 6428 100%medallion X 2 = 38568

Me too, I thought it was Hanoi, but I know DL doesn't fly to HAN, may be code share with Vietnam Airlines? Alas, OP meant HND ;).

OP- Neither HAN or HDN is the airport code for Haneda, as MSPeconomist pointed out. It's HND.
