DL, AF Cut Atlantic Capacity for Winter 2011-2012

    Capacity cuts of up to 9% next winter...blames fuel costs and fluctuating demand. Guess I know why I had too many empty rows to myself this past winter. I am wondering how this will impact the added frequencies to BOS and MIA or the many frequencies to/from JFK ... not sure how those loads have been for DL. Of course, a lot could change between now and then!

    These percentages represent capacity cuts compared to last fall and winter, not compared to current schedules. There's always a reduction between high season and low season. In fact, capacity was increased this summer by close to six percent.
