Interesting news for SEA based folks with new pretty frequent SEA-SFO service from DL: http://www.bizjournals.com/seattle/news/2013/10/01/delta-adds-flights-puts-pressure-on.html. They added the competitive SEA-LAX flights a while back plus their growing international service with direct PVG and HND service in addition to NRT, CDG, AMS as well as the pending additions of LHR, HKG, and ICN. I've been taking their Skywest operated SEA-LAX a bit. It is a CRJ7 instead of a 738 on AS so that means waiting for my bag in the jetway instead of running for my cxn. But I do like being able to SDC between several direct flights rather then having to route through SLC. AS metal has its limits. DL's move is interesting and at this moment good for us SEA based folks. Hopefully they don't buy AS though.
