Yes, it is worth mentioning that the OP will get a $25 credit for every person who signs up through that link, so a conga line might be better. Also, most all the hotels on the site are not luxury hotels, nor am I overwhelmed by the deals I've seen there.

I totally agree about Sniqueaway. Not the best deals. I got "deal fatigue"... getting all these offers but to none of the cities I am visiting and I eventually unsubscribed. Between Groupon and all the other daily deals, I couldn't keep up ;-)

  8. The Ritz Carlton at St. Thomas is surely one of the city's most prestigious hotel in the Carribean Places, I also been there for many times. :)

This is the former Huntington Sheraton/Ritz Carlton (or was it a Four Seasons?) Pasadena CA (actually in San Marino). It's an older hotel and unless there has been a major remodel, it has seen better days. Not that it is terrible, just probably not worth much more than $175 or so a night most nights.

It was a Ritz Carlton, but probably one of their cheaper properties. I liked the place when I stayed there ten or fifteen years ago, although it can be isolated without a car. The grounds were nice, although weekends seemed to have a lot of weddings. It seemed big for a hotel of its category, but that might just be perception from their layout.

I guess you are referring to the Renaisaance. I would have to say that the building is impressive, a most interesting structure which strikes a perfect balance between comfort and style. There is about the right retention of respect for the original structure. It is not the most obvious choice but one which personally I do like, it is busy enough and as a base very easy to get to any part of the City.

You can edit your OP to disclose the $25 credit.
