    Wow...certainly have to wonder how the parts of a gun ended up in a child's stuffed toy!

    At least they're not calling the guy a terrorist yet. The most you can draw out of this story is that either (1) he's telling the truth and has no clue there were gun parts in the toy or (2) he just really wanted to get his gun through security and thought disassembling it and putting it in a toy would be the easiest way. Even if (2) is correct, that doesn't suggest nefarious intentions. Just stupidity.

    I propose that all children's toys now need to be 3 oz or less and the entire collection needs to fit in a quart-sized ziplock bag.

    After hearing the story on CBS Radio Network news last night, which described this as a "domestic dispute," it sounded like the parts were loaded into the bear, as a measure of revenge. The two were allowed to continue on their flight.

    But that doesn't stop the TSA from heralding something that shouldn't really be news. This is the equivalent of a true law enforcement officer making a traffic stop for speeding.
