I could fly either airline for the same price, and probably get upgraded either way. Which carrier serves the better dinner these days?

    Thanks.....

I wouldn't worry about what is being served on board. Because the best meal option will be eating and/or picking up something from Rick Bayless' Torta Frontera at either the United Terminal (near B11 in T1) or the AA Terminal (near K4 in T3).

I think the more important question is what's for dessert? Does AA still do sundaes on midcons like ORD-SFO? :)

They have ice cream/proper dessert, yes. It's not the sundae cart, but beats the hell out of the UA Costco cookies

Love that place. The Cuban is friggin awesome, but not recommended if you're in a hurry. They take their sweet time making stuff

That is the one downside is that it is not the zippiest place to get food. The lines are usually long and move slowly since they only have one cashier. And all the sandwiches are made to order, so there is a wait for that. Though if you do order a mollete, they are pre-made (though still really awesome).

And if you decide to eat there (they do have nice views of the ramp between concourse B and C) seating is a challenge too.

But despite these challenges, I would go there again (and again :D).

Sigh. Sometimes you have to patronize TOBB (btw, it's AA for me).

    UA: F ord-sna 6:16 pm 3/27/12

Choices were grilled chicken with rice and string beans or ravioli "mezzaluna" (aka tomato sauce), both accompanied by small salad, roll and the (silly) fruit cup.

Shortly after the dinner service, ever so slightly warmed oatmeal cookies were handed out.

I had the chicken, which had a weird flavor. It also had some sort of tomato sauce, which added nothing but more off flavors. However, the very good FA had the sense to serve the sauce on the side.

As the menu indicates, it's American by a wide margin here. UA - get with the program, you're not competing with Delta on ORD-West Coast.

And the cookies have gotten smaller and smaller over the years.

Chrome on Mac would probably show it thanks to PDFKit. Not sure about other platforms.
