I signed up using my yahoo address. Never got the confirmation email. Asked for it to be resent 3 times and never got it. Not in inbox, not in spambox, nowhere.

When I switched to my work email the confirmation email came immediately.

    Just thought you should know.

Thanks koko - all feedback is good feedback.

This isn't the official answer, as we'll look into it on our end and make sure everything is working as it should be, but I think it's a Yahoo thing. When performing other email tests for other projects I've had to shy away from Yahoo mail completely, as it seems to always take longer for messages to show up there than when using other clients.

I know another user who also has a Yahoo email account and hasn't received the confirmation email. Anyway you guys can let Yahoo know it is real mail?

I used my yahoo account and made a second request for confirmation when nothing came through. The confirmation e-mail showed up about 20 minutes later.

I tried to log in from a sbcglobal acct which is from at&t. I got no response. I didn;t think it was in operation yet. When I came back approx 30 minutes later it was on my computer.

Using a mailserver that I manage personally -- first email not received, clicked resend, and received the email immediately. The first one never arrived, though.

My initial Gmail requests (yes, I registered a couple different accounts) never showed. I requested anew and it finally showed up. Then, a couple hours later, the original came with the from address as Jamie rather than the site.

I waited a while for my confirmation email to my yahoo account without success; luckily, I found this thread and changed the email to hotmail and it arrived instantly.

Nice site, Randy. Looks like a fun community to learn about frequent flying and the miles and points that can be earned.

I'm getting email alerts a LONG time after the email was initially sent/triggered. Perhaps a good idea to check on the sendmail queue/process and see what is going on there. Here's a header from the most recent one:
    Code:
    Received: from db4.webflyer.com (db4.webflyer.com [64.78.155.181])

As you can see from the timestamps in the header the message was noodling around on the MilePoint servers for a couple hours before eventually being relayed out to my email host.

(Bummer that color doesn't work in the code tags)
