    Dear MilePoint Members,

We’ve heard rumblings that there’s some confusion about the breakfast benefit for Diamond members when Regency Club/Grand Club access is not available. To provide clarity, we’ve come up with a standard definition so Diamond members know exactly what to expect when staying with us.

When Regency Club/Grand Club access is unavailable or when a Hyatt does not have a Regency Club/Grand Club, members receive complimentary daily full breakfast inclusive of one entrée (or standard breakfast buffet), juice and coffee (tax, gratuity and service charges included) for each registered guest in the room, maximum four people.

For complete program details including program terms and conditions, visit goldpassport.com.

    Sincerely,

    Hyatt Gold Passport Customer Service

Agree - this is the best elite benefit breakfast benefit. Very generous for families (and anyone else with more than 2 in the room). Thumbs up to Hyatt!

I have taken advantage of the perk many times now. In some instances it has saved us $50.00 per person for breakfast. ( Park Hyatt Tokyo et al )

Hyatt - Thanks so much for the info. I am on a low carb diet and many of the clubs only have high carb options...muffins, bagels, and such which is frustrating. If I eat anything provided, my daily allowance of carbs is gone. I am staying at the Grand Hyatt Seattle right now and am so pleased that I can get enough to eat for breakfast...hot egg item, hard boiled eggs, processed meat/salami. I wish all clubs would provide alternatives like this or allow a option to dine in the restaurant for a nominal charge.

This brings up an interesting point. There aren't many gluten-free options in the lounge. With so many people now having gluten issues, I wonder if that will be addressed.

    Hello,
What to make of the specifically excluded gratuity at Hyatt Regency Valencia, CA? Should I be taking this up with corporate? Servers tell me that there is a gratuity of $1 paid to them by their employer for each voucher. I added a $5 gratuity to my bill and the full $5 was charged to me at checkout.
