What would be kind of benefits would Diamonds receive at Centric properties? T&C does not even have them listed yet. Will we receive full breakfast? is it 1000 points Diamond amenity?

    Thank you for your response.
When is the anticipated launch date? Both Chicago and Miami properties already accepting reservations and would be nice to know the benefits before booking.

At this moment unfortunately not but we hope to have it available within the next month. Very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

    Thanks!

I was planning to stay there in a few weeks, but if Diamond benefit isn't clear, might as well stay elsewhere.

Thanks for sharing. Is $20 food credit per person registered in a room or a total per room?

Front desk said $20 credit per Diamond member when I asked the front desk. The front desk agent was in training. I was hoping she find out from the manager on duty. She didn't and there was no other employee around at the time.

I certainly hope it's per registered guest up to 4.

FYI, the growing pains continue at the Centric property in South Beach.

Checked in today and the person behind the desk was fairly clueless about pretty much everything. She had to confirm the breakfast was included as a diamond benefit, had to confirm I was entitled to a welcome amenity, etc.

Overall it's a nice hotel, but don't be fooled by any pictures... if anything, the BoardingArea review has it pretty spot on. It's a tiny property with very nice, modern rooms, but don't expect to be doing much at the hotel if you don't want to feel crowded. The check-in desk, bar, restaurant and pool are all on the 3rd floor, so when they say "poolside tapas" they literally mean on a few tables between the elevators and the pool.

It's nice for a few days if you want to stay on South Beach and specifically want a Hyatt property, but I would personally do the Regency on the other side of the causeway if given the choice.

Thanks for the update, Viguera. While I'm always happy to see Hyatt expansion, the two stays I've had at properties in South Beach (the W and one other property I don't recall) we're little postage stamps that just were too cramped for my taste.

I would agree on HR Miami even though it's a bit long in the tooth. The Intercontinental right across the street is supposed to be very nice as well.

The HR on the other side is my go-to place... it's far enough from the craziness but still nearby, and even though the traffic can get nasty on the weekends it's still nice to have a reasonable room and a full sized restaurant.

The troubles continue though... today it was a missed breakfast order (put on the door for 9am and had to call it in at 10:30). They're really trying to make a bad impression... :) I guess I'll have to wait for that survey.
