I've been trying to get a hold of Di Fara's Pizza http://www.difara.com/ for a couple of weeks. Sometimes they answer the phone, and most times they don't. It's been discussed that they're now doing private parties in the evening between 7:00 and 10:00pm. $30 a person and all you can eat. Dom will make all types of pizza for you and 20 - 23 of your closest friends. More than that and people will have to stand. BYO of course. [IMG]

Di Fara's Pizza is the best in all Brooklyn, and all of New York City. http://www.difara.com/

The old man himself still makes the pies. Ingredients are imported from Italy. It's the best $5.00 you'll ever spend on a slice.

Just in from Italian in Salzburg. They do a pretty good job here, too. :)

DiFara is great but way too pricey by the slice. The only way to go is by ordering a pie. I hadn't heard about them doing private parties- definitely interesting.

No. They could never handle a busload. Heck, I've waited an hour for a couple of slices.

Interesting idea. Not sure if you know Sam's on Court Street. Awesome pizza and one of the 10 oldest in NYC from what I recall reading. We had my son's first birthday there in January.
