I'd like everyone's thoughts on the following MR's:

    DFW-AUS-LAX-JFK-SFO-LAX-JFK-BOS-DFW - 11,053 miles ($758) 0.069 ppm
    DFW-SJC-LAX-JFK-SFO-LAX-JFK-BOS-DFW - 11,368 miles ($774) 0.068 ppm
    DFW-TPA-MIA-JFK-SFO-ORD-LAX-JFK-DFW - 12,265 miles ($872) 0.071 ppm
    DFW-BOS-JFK-LAX-HNL-LAX-JFK-BOS-DFW - 13,558 miles ($788) 0.058 ppm
    DFW-SEA-MIA-JFK-LAX-JFK-SFO-MIA-DFW - 17,508 miles ($1,198) 0.068 ppm

Which ones do you like the best and do you have any other suggestions? So far, the MR in bold is the best I've found.

This is a really broad query. Can you narrow it down a bit with what you are trying to accomplish and when?

Originating out of DFW sure seems to be more expensive most of the time however deals can be had from time to time. There's also positioning to consider. Lots of angles really. ITA is your friend :)

My apologies for being so broad. I'm a noob at this and was using ITA to come up with some "cost effective" MR's. The run would strictly pretty much be for fun with a 1 or 2 night stay at the destination. I was hoping to get the best bang for the buck but didn't know if I was covering all the different aspects of MR's in general. I don't "need" points and this would be for the 2013 qualifying year. SO, it would just be a big boost the mileage bank for the time being. :) Thanks for your response!

I am also DFW based. The one you highlighted is the best I have found for all domestic, but the planes are 757 or 737. Other options are international to BCL, MAD or DOH.

If you see others, let me know as I am looking for Feb.

It's no trouble, I'm just trying to get a sense of what you are doing.

Those are decent CPM's for short notice out of DFW I think. If you want to save time and/or can get someone to SWU you look at going long haul. For instance, a run to Tokyo and overnight there using a 5% (or better if you can find it) coupon probably costs a bit more CPM wise but it could be a lot easier run.

I just found this blog via another post on milepoint a few weeks ago. It is helpful identifying possible MR candidates.

This may be a dumb question, but how can someone SWU me and how might I find someone willing to do it? Thanks again!

SWUs expire at the end of Feb. So, if someone has some expiring then they could give them to you...or, trade them if you need them now and you give them 2 when you qualify for EXP (a trade is much more likely). SWUs are applied based on the person that has them calling the EXP desk with the record locator.
