One of the most destructive insects arrived in the Tri-State earlier this month as a passenger on an international flight.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers found a Khapra Beetle in unclaimed baggage at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
The luggage is traced back to Bahrain. The beetle was found in luggage that contained tea, grain and a bag of ground vegetables.

  2. This, along with the fumigation of a BA 747 for bedbug infestation
