Okay so I want to go to Argentina March 12th - 22nd.

If I were to fly LH through FRA, would that still be 100k miles in F?

Also, what exact steps do I take to check availability through Expert flyer for 1 F Award Seat?

(i'll be purchasing the ticket through aeroplan).

I don't know how you'd be able to do that routing. The +5% MPM for DEN-EZE is 7487, and DEN-FRA alone is 5039 (FRA-EZE adds 7139). And I'm pretty sure there is no published routing through FRA. But maybe there is another way?

Two separate awards (to Europe and then to South America) would add up to 230K in F! :(

    Okay your right.

So what would be a good route then? Things are looking very unavailable, and I hate flying united. CO doesn't offer F.

If you want F, and not on UA, I think your only choice is JJ (TAM). Am not seeing any F availability on JJ for 11-14 Mar for MIA-GIG or MIA-GRU, though.

EDIT: JJ does have flights to JFK and MCO as well. But everything looks very full that week (it's March break in Canada, and prime vacation season in the US as well).

Flying in J isn't that bad, is it? :)

There is no doubt F is nicer. But it looks like a very busy weekend, so you might have to balance F vs J, travel dates and destinations. :)
