This is genius! I love this. At 55 seconds, I almost lost it. The picture of the GiNormous Boombox, mobile phone, and atari console and the dude putting it under the seat in front of him had me in stitches. The couple that don't know "wifi" and the BIG 80s hair - classic!

Seeing ALF was amazing, that show was so good and ahead of it's time! It should have a new life as a cable show! They should have made him the unwilling passenger in the exit aisle, so he could have a speaking part.

They should do a video, based on the 60s, 70s & 90s as well.

I liked a couple of things in the Alf movie they did after the end of the series.

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0117397/

There was a scene where Alf was blindfolded. Alf pointed at a drink, and said that one was definitely the Pepsi.

I love ALF. He is a hoot! He would do well on cable these days.

    Thanks for posting, KENNECTED!

There's much to like/laugh about this video. It does appear to have been made more recently than the '80's - an -80's spoof video by Delta. There's many giveaways that this is a more recent video. The mention of WiFi (with puzzled looks by the passengers), use of a modern Delta-logo airplane in the cartoon, and the smoking ban on US airlines didn't occur until the 1990's, see:

    Keep 'em coming!

I'm totally aware this is a spoof. It's clearly obvious.

Anyone that thinks this was produced in the 1980's should step away from their PC with the 5.25" floppy disc!

    My favorite moments:

    1. Devo guy removing his hat
    2. Kat as a child "Smoking isn't allowed....." and
    3. The hair on the guy demo-ing the life jacket

The video really played slowly. Usually this stuff loads fast, I have the state of the art U.S. Robotics 1200 baud modem.

    I am a child of the 80's and I don't remember the 4.5" floppy. 5-1/4" and 3.5" I remember.

I had one of those (actually 2, an internal and external)

Officer Murdock at the very end was a highlight for me.

"The hell I don't! LISTEN, KID! I've been hearing that crap ever since I was at UCLA. I'm out there busting my buns every night. Tell your old man to drag Walton and Lanier up and down the court for 48 minutes."

If you can't remember the 80's you were probably there.

Just had my first flight this year with IFE and it was 50/50 as far as who laughed and who had no idea what era the video was "spoofing". I suppose most travelers were either too old or too young to remember the 80's.

Too old? Or intentionally do not want to remember the bad hair products, loud music and God awful fashions that, via therapy, they've suppressed?! LOL

Well, remember where I live!! Flying to FLL, it's either senior citizens who were my age back then, or kids too young to know the era. It's ironic (and sad too). I was just sitting in my hotel room, a couple of nights ago, listening to Boy George/CC, Depeche Mode and Erasure. All GREAT 80's bands.
