I hope the one a day from SEA to JFK is the redeye. Lieflat in the day flights is a waste of space and fewer biz seats anyway. Looks like upgrades are going to get even more competitive. I can see it now - "enjoy your upgrade to EC" ;)

Is the longhaul (transatlantic) fleet now all flat beds? I had a recent flight that was- however I don't know if I was lucky or if this is now finished?

Not on all transAtlantic yet I don't think. To LHR yes - flat bed....and slowly rolling across the fleet.

Yes, its always a mix. I noticed that SA flights to EZE and SCL went from flat beds last year to recliners now whereas several Asia and EU routes went the other way to lie flat 763s consistently. Surprised to see EU win out over SA for good birds considering economies.
