Looks like DL has again pushed back their date for resumption of service to Cairo. On delta.com they still say flights will be resumed as of 1 May but yesterday (Rebuild Your PNR Saturday) my wife's 12 May itinerary got all bollixed up. Trying to find G-2 on the nonstop out of JFK it looks like it now is not on the schedule until 29 May.

[ Her itinerary was changed to KLM via AMS with absolutely terrible connections and a misconnect, for good measure. Fortunately, and as experienced in the past, a live agent moved her to much more acceptable AF flights with routine connections, and decent arrival and departure times. ]

Edit: changed bolded date typo to May (which is still wrong!).

I hope a SWU or miles upgrade wasn't lost in the process.

Actually, it looks like May 19 is the current anticipated restart date for JFK-CAI. And it will only run 5x weekly this summer (originally supposed to be daily).
