    Hi All,

Saw this on FT (LINK) and figured I'd share DL's latest (de)enhancements:

"Our goal is to offer members quality products and services at reasonable prices that are competitive with other airport lounges while continuing to provide good value for membership."

So, we'll start seeing showers in more SkyClubs?

I bet Sky Vodka is going away from in-flight service also.

These offerings are not competitive with other lounges. Nor are their prices charged for the premium stuff reasonable, in my opinion. I'm really getting angrier and angrier with DL. It's time to switch loyalty.

They found that it was almost impossible to spend less on the complimentary wine selection, and accordingly, it has not been changed.

I haven't drank the free wine since Luxury Bar opened. Guess I'll keep drinking the BV Cab.

Bullshit. They used to have great free beer selections in the majority of their clubs. Complete and total BS.

Beer is a separate contract from Wine/Liquor apparently (FT thread)

That thread only specified specialty brews, why couldn't we get Heineken in every SkyClub, or Sam Adams? Or heck, even Coors Light is better than that crap (and yes I know Coors Light is crap) that they're now having.

The latest wine I've seen in the SC is "Sycamore Lane.' it isn't great, but not bad. It is better than the Fetzer NW had.

However, I am not pleased with the rest of bet changes. I don't drink often in the SC, but when I do I would like something decent. To say that they are "harmonizing" with other clubs IS NOT something to emulate.

Maybe they need this list to assist with their next move. :(

Sadly, the domestic competition does offer comparable complimentary liquor quality. It's annoying to see the little details where DL was actually better go away.

I'm surprised this got 3 likes.

I like UA's regional selection of beers like Goose Island Honker's Ale in ORD and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale in California clubs.

I know and I liked DL's beer selection. DL, UA & AS lounges superior to AA & US in this regard. Sorry to see them fall back, and the cost per keg cannot be that significant.

BOS thoroughly enhanced...and delta's target customer is surprised and delighted by such novel luxuries as hummmus and yogurt covered pretzels.

It's an offense to real hummus to call that crap hummus.

That sure didn't stop the ladies in front of me from being thrilled.

Absent the luxury bar which I'm happy to sample from time to time, what's left that's quasi-decent?
