    I'm a bit curious/skeptical what actually gets donated. Straight-up miles, with limited redeemability and capacity controls? Whatever value Delta places on miles on their books? Flights at "high" level?

    It's a good thought, but a monetary donation to a relevant charity is certainly much more transparent.

    I agree with that. If we knew how DL would handle that I would be inclined to give, but I also am giving to Doctors Without Borders, among others.

    Give dollars. They can be used as needed for air (with any airline), food, shelter, etc. Sky Pesos don't seem the best way to help.
