I am a current Delta GM. I flew 65 segments last year but MQM were low because I only flew in the southeast. My company pays for my tickets so I have no choice but to fly with delta because of locations and price. My question is how can I get more MQM's and elevate my status without all the BIS miles. I have a delta reserve amex that I got last year which helped with MQM's. Should I just do a mileage run to increase my MQM's. I have a couple of credits worth about 600.00.
    Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like you're qualifying on segments -- how many MQMS did you have at the end of the year?

There are only three ways that I can think of that you can get MQMs without flying -- buy them, take advantage of a few promos (such as the Hilton one), or play credit card games, but in your case it may not make sense to do any of them.

you can get the delta platinum card, too. and yes, $600 could get you a nice int'l MR if you can find a few connections and low-season flying
