I just really love flying Delta. Been a frequent flyer since 1989. Never any problems.

    /waits for Redtail

I like flying Delta as well, and I fly coach. What most people have issue with is their awards bookings, which I have not done yet.

I smell troll bait. 1 post on the forums and a generic statement.

honestly the biggest concern is that the program has an industry-leading tendency to devalue without warning, and is not unlikely to switch to fare-based redemption which would basically kill redemption value for premium cabins. I'd be thrilled if they just maintain their status as a bit worse in that regard than the other legacies, but with a nice in-flight product, and also bring back the old SDC policy...

Award booking is an issue, but it can be worked around most of the time. There's a higher requirement for knowledge on the part of the booker, and a somewhat greater need for moderate flexibility, but awards still exist. I've been using my Skymiles primarily for business class travel to destinations not served in any convenient way (or sometimes at all) by AA and/or UA and their partners that also happen to be near the top of the list of places my wife and I want to travel.

Flying DL is only moderately problematic (shena, FCM, lack of delivery of benefits etc.) and to some extent, this is offset by the decent hard product. When dealing with SM, however, things get blasted out the airlock. The DL borg meantime maintains its even HAL-cadence speech.... "Dave, without a spacesuit, you'll find that rather difficult."

It figures. Like this analysis, DL SM is:

Yes. I think they are more suitable. Because now they look more like Jeff himself in the "More Choices" vid from 2009.

It was a hard choice but it was the right one.

Can I buy those stars on the medallion Marketplace?

How many miles does each star cost?

You're going to need a bigger card.:) (with a tip of the hat to Roy Scheider in Jaws.)
