Is there an expectation to increase award redemption charts as a result of this decision?

I wonder if DL offering BE JFK/LAX, SFO, SEA is supposed to an answer to the Premium Service offered by UA (where the service in C and F is the same as international)? The only way I could see F and BE being different:

    1. Get rid of the tacky trays. (always would be my preference).
    2. The international choice of wines/beverages (some are only available in BE......like some hot teas).
    3. Noise cancelling headsets.

I know on the longer lunch/supper flights (I think 4 hrs?) the BE chef special is already offered.

So what are the major changes to the route from "normal" domestic F? Did I miss any thing?

That said, I'm glad to see DL start to bolster the F cabin domestically.

The use the ex-TWA 752 that have the older BE seats and occasionally sub in a 767 (often lay flat seats, I think) on this route...

AA also offers J and F on this route, including Bose noise canx headphones and a Galaxy tablet. I'm also pretty sure they allow lounge access on this route when in J/F.

    dl.com: Transcontinental BusinessElite
    - Go Go wifi
    - 150 degree BE seats
    - AVOD/power port/USB power
    - Unique menu
    - Sky Priority
    - Sky Club access
    - Sky Priority and access to the Sky Club

But in BE/X (upgrade), I think you still have to pay for the GO GO, right? I don't mean that as a slight to the service, just as a clarification. I wonder what (if any) freebies will be given with the new "on demand" via internet that DL is supposed to be rolling out (as opposed to the GOGO wi fi).
