I noticed 2 days ago I did not get an upgrade when i entered the window (even though there was availability). On my delta.com my intinerary had changed from "upgrade requested" to "upgrade available." I checked the box and got my seat.
Today, for my return flight, the same thing has happened. But instead of getting my seat, I can no longer access my intiniary (I see error 999)!
I just called and they had no idea what was going on, but I got my upgrade.
The ticket was a regular ticket, bought with cash on delta.com

No problems here. How did you put the cash into delta.com? :)

Through the coin slot on the side of his computer.

I was all concerned for a minute -- I'm flying Sunday morning and I haven't received my EUA emails. So I checked my itinerary and I booked myself on 2 CRJs. Normally I'm not that stupid.

It seems to be working fine today for us. At 6PM sharp we had our e-mail notice of the upgrades for next Tuesday and by 602 we had changed to the seats that we like.

Make sure that they have everything correct in your profile and it should work. It has not missed for us at all in the last few months.

    Ouch! :(

Our outbound UGs for our last trip to ANU cleared at the five day mark while the UGs for the return trip happened at the gate. :(

Can I magically make the CRJs A319s? Actually I know why I booked my flight -- I have Flyers/Kings tickets for Sunday in PHL and for some reason I knew the NHL was going to move up the 7PM start time...and they did, to 3PM. Just happy they didn't move it to 12:30PM and make it the TV game cause my flight doesn't arrive until noon.

One thing I do find weird -- I booked a ticket for early April and never got email confirmation or an email receipt for the reservation. I'll have to check my profile.

On occasion the "upgrade available" happens to me. Sometimes it is a change of equipment, and I just call and they force it through but it is irritating.

You might not want to turn a CRJ into an A319. Remember, DL has ripped a row of FC out of the 319s, so that they only now have three rows of FC seats, while the CRJ-900s have four rows (but both types of aircraft have 12 FC seats now).
