Today Heardable, Inc., the standard for measuring online brand performance, released an all new benchmark report titled, Top 10 Airlines in North America, that assesses the online performance of the top 10 airlines in North America. Delta earned the top spot in a field of strong competitors.

Delta's brand health score of 739 out of 1,000 possible points beat its nearest competitor, United Airlines, by 17 points, or 2.30%, and surpassed third place American Airlines by 66 points, or 8.93%. The gap between Delta and lowest-ranked Aeromexico was 195 points, or 26.39%.

It's been 18 months since Heardable published its first report on the top performing airlines in North America and this time around, Delta was the top performing online brand once again. Delta is a clearly a bright and shining star for online branding done right.

Of course this is about "Branding". Once the masses realize they have a third world website, their "Brand" will have a whole different meaning.

Agreed. I literally laughed out loud when I read this. I generally find the entire site to be unnavigable; have written e-mails and filled out surveys stating as much.

This just proves how counterproductve, useless and comical it is when the elite evaluates the elite using criteria that they dream up. DL is especially bad in this respect but many large organizations need better governance.

When Joe Public thinks about the big 3 airline brands, he thinks:

American is in bankruptcy, United is still trying to fix the operational problems with the merger, so the best brand is . . .

    Delta

    Complete farce.

What in the sam hell is in the water that lets something called "Heardable" and another thing called "Skytraxx" to determine the quality of *anything,* especially considering that there is really no science behind anything they say? There's no accounting for biases, I don't even see how statistics are employed in these things, just simply raw number-counts and averages.

I don't see why you're all outraged. Delta does a lot right for the average traveler. The fact that they're not necessarily so good for elite travelers doesn't change that fact
