Passed through yesterday...good news for DCA flyers as lines there can be brutal at busy times.
It wasn't there on June 3. Pretty weird for a main focus city where US wants business travel.
Yeah it's not been there for several years. Great to see it back (and enforced).
Yeah, but not when the airport is "busy". Passed through the Friday before Memorial Day weekend and the elite line was gone. Asked about it and was told that because the airport was busy they took away the elite line ... WTF?!?! That is why you have an elite line - when the airport is busy!
No, it was gone for years and is back as of late this month (June).
They also announced that there is Pre-Check now on the upper-numbered gates (Pier C). Unfortunately for the United MP fliers on US, we can't access it. Still, this should help with the often crazy TSA lines there.
