The report was published by Bloomberg on 16.01.2015. Yes, there's now another management company and the hotel does operate, but it's interesting to read about the short history about this new IC in Davos, it's fascinating to hear about how the hotel was paid for, where it is located and why it's there in the first place. It's a fascinating hotel in regards of design and the WEF is their main customer it says, interesting to experience how the hotel is "filled up" during other times of the year and how other hotels are closing in the "off seasons" while the IC Davos is kept open all-year round. Overall, a meaningful article IMHO. Very timely seeing that the WEF 2015 is on at the moment in Davos and this hotel plays actually a big role again this year, like every year since opening. Cheers.

Probably a good "loss leader" for the Swiss to have that hotel there. IC said they could drive more connection business there over time. It is truly a very nice place to stay.
