I really like the Alamo $50 certificates for $25. ;)

I've done really well with the Hyatt points through this promo in the past. Last year they sold out in seconds, but it's always fun to play the game!

I'm all over Wyndham Rewards each year. Last year many of my points when for a stay in Hyannis in the Cape Cod area, as always not the best hotel, but ok at the buy points rate compared to paying for it... I also overnighted at good comfort inn or something near SEA with a better breakfast, likely Priceline would have been just as good... Still have 18k left over and will buy again.

I've done really well with the Choice points I bought two years ago for less than .4 cents per point. I've found many good redemptions at 8000-10,000 points, which means hotel stays for $30-40 a night. So, I'll be looking at those again, since my Choice points stash is down to 28,000.
The first preview comes on May 12.

I'm new here, just came on board if you will, I joined choice awards, and I look forward to be able to use it and learn to sit-back, relax and enjoy

Wyndham points should be less in demand this year after devaluations i reckon..

Honestly, last year was mostly disappointing. We'll see what the offers are this year but I'm not keeping my hopes up. I'll probably play the who can press enter the fastest game with Hyatt, but otherwise ignore it. Plus the number of blog posts about this will be disproportionate to the value again I suspect.

I agree with gconnery - I thought last year were not as good as previous years. The fact that many went unsold is also a good indication of the quality of the deals. Hoping for some good ones again this year!

I may buy some Choice points on May 21 (assuming, of course, they aren't taken in the first nanosecond)

Is there a good return on those? I kind of see that it might pay off in high-priced markets like Europe/Scandinavia, or with Preferred Hotels, but as generating WN points, you're paying 2.5 cpp and getting less than 1.5 cpp back...

If I buy Choice points, it will be to redeem at Choice hotels. I've had plenty of nice stays at around 10,000 points (which I may be able to buy for as low as $40), so if I foresee more of those kinds of stays in the coming 2+ years, a purchase will be worth it for me. YMMV
