Cathay Pacific Airways has announced an expansion of its codeshare agreement with American Airlines, which will add 11 new destinations to the carrier’s North American network from AA’s two hubs: O’Hare International Airport in Chicago and Los Angles. The carrier will also expand its codeshare agreement with Alaska Airlines, adding two destinations in Mexico to its network.
The new arrangement will complement the daily service between Hong Kong and Chicago by Cathay Pacific, to be launched in September this year. The flight will depart Hong Kong at 1145 and arrive at O’Hare Airport at 1345. The return leg will depart at 1525, arriving back in Hong Kong at 2000 the following day.
