Has anyone had any luck with being compensated by AA's customer relations for a snafu they caused? I recently contacted them about an issue that I had regarding a flight I thought was booked through AA.com for Cathay Pacific, but was actually cancelled 2 weeks later. The manager I spoke with offered me 5K miles or $120, which to me seems an admission of guilt. Due to the great inconvenience caused, I opted to take my chances with customer relations which has yet to return my call/email- 2 weeks later. Any suggestions?
