    Any recommendations on where to get the best exchange for my USD to GBP and Euros?

    Where are you based...? Also, have you checked on the fx policy of the bank you do business with...?

    I'm in DFW. All of my banks have a 3% fx fee. I do have an AMEX PLT. But, that's my emergency card. I do have Ally Bank and I have thought about using them to take money out of the ATM once I get into the UK. Other than that, any suggestions?

    Ouch.... 3% fee is quite relevant. Im wondering if Travelex and the other crooks at the airport will be much more expensive... perhaps someone else can comment...?
