A stressful journey. First, Terminal 1 at LHR is evacuated after an incident at the BMI check-in leading to a man being led away in handcuffs. Then security is (as you might imagine) chaotic so I just make the plane - great FA from C brings me a glass of water even though I'm in E+ (thanks!). Doors armed and then a medical emergency. Doors disarmed, St Johns arrives and takes the man off for a checkup, security called to search his seating area, and doors armed. But wait - FAs lead a man back from Business who somewhat under the influence of a few drinks has decided he didn't like his middle seat in Economy. Takes his seat but claims he should be in C as United didn't give him an aisle seat Argument rages, doors disarmed, man led off, security called to search his seating area. Sigh. Missed Chicago connection so a night in the Hilton. Upsides - no charges for drinks in Economy and United (without asking) credited me with 10K miles. Anyone else on this flight?
