BBC: Loch Ken crayfish attract business interest

Certainly not the most talked about food...but I know many who like it.

Hi rwoman- this thread title wins the award for "strangest thread title of March 2012"- I would never have thought about crayfish as attracting business interest! Thanks for posting.

Until I moved to the UK, I never really thought about crayfish (or crawdad's as we called them growing up in California...I think they're the same)... it's poplar on sandwiches here and I've had on some salads.

I have eaten crayfish a few times- it is OK on a sandwich as you noted- however I wouldn't go out of my way to order it.
